Heaven Rewards the Diligent: Chairman Tsai Chin-Lien's Life of Hard Work

[Chiayi News] Tsai Chin-Lien, Chairman of Kung Hsing Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd., was awarded an honorary doctorate by National Chung Cheng University on June 8. Born into a farming family, he pursued learning and hard work step by step after graduating from school, facing every person and task with sincerity and care — "integrity" is the best description of Tsai Chin-Lien. He thanked National Chung Cheng University President Dr. Feng Chan-Hua for the nomination, and said he will continue to fulfill corporate social responsibility in the future.
"Kung Hsing" was founded and developed in Taibao, Chiayi in 1972. Tsai Chin-Lien has run the company diligently and steadily, and with the unseen support of his devout religious faith, he deeply feels blessed by providence. "Taking from society, giving back to society" has always been Tsai Chin-Lien's guiding principle, and he has since been actively involved in social charity work. In terms of religious devotion, he has spared no effort — whether donating land or contributing money and labor. Through a fortunate turn of events, he served as the Director of District D1 (Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan) of Lions Clubs International Taiwan; during his tenure the 921 Earthquake struck, and he immediately joined the post-disaster reconstruction of several schools in central Taiwan. He later served as President of Lions Clubs International Taiwan (2012-2013 term), leading fellow Lions members nationwide in donating to the International Foundation and responding to charitable work around the world, and was commended at the international annual convention in Germany for the kindness of the Taiwanese people.
Kung Hsing Vice Chairman Tsai Kun-Lin said the Chairman has accumulated more than 50 years of experience in extruder design and manufacturing. Because the Chairman upholds the spirit of "Integrity," "Innovation," "Harmony," and "Gratitude," providing the best quality and service, raising the technical bar, and meeting customer needs, Kung Hsing has gained a competitive edge and become a leader in blown film machines in Taiwan, exporting to more than 100 countries worldwide with strong acclaim.
